47" $30.00 28" $20.00 -- Use when panels are set up in a circular configuration for breezy conditions. The stabilizer bar clamps in across the doorway opening. This makes the observatory a very sturdy structure with a Dark Sky anchoring system. Each bar includes two IRWIN® brand ratchet clamps. (Instructions included)
Four jugs is enough to anchor a Star Party Set (six panels) down for breezy conditions. Use on blacktop or concrete driveways, patios, decks, or any flat surface. (lawns too) The jugs are made of a very tough clear PVC. The jugs are a large 160oz. with a white lid, molded handle and epoxy powder-coated metal hook. (will not rust--we tried to tear the hook out on one of these and failed!) Fill with sand which can be purchased at your local hardware store. (20 lb. ea. -- filled with sand for 80lb.of anchoring weight) Set them on the ground with the hook over the bottom tube of the panel. Totally portable and work beautifully. (Use these on the outside of the observatory.)
(set of four and 10" long) -- epoxy powder-coated. (will not rust) Perfect for breezy conditions. Custom made for Dark Sky observatories. They are 1/2 inch steel rod with steel foot pad welded on top. (These stakes are very heavy duty.) Push or pound in at a 45 degree angle over the bottom tube of the panel. These stakes really hold and work perfect. The foot pad on top also serves as a handle to pull them out. Push in stakes standing on the outside of the panels. (Instructions included.)
Permanent Mount Anchors

(epoxy powder-coated) These anchors clamp over the side or bottom tubes of the panel frame. Use for wall or floor mounting. Includes SS hardware. Use these when setting up panels in a 180 degree configuration. (See photo below.) Permanent Mount Anchors clamp down each end panel to a garage door jamb or to a wall. Use a pair of these anchors and a set of Dark Sky Portable Weights for breezy conditions on the configuration shown below. Can be used instead of portable weights. (Deck, Concrete pad, etc.) (Easy installation instructions included.)

Storing the Dark Sky Portable Panel Observatory System
Storing the Dark Sky Portable Panel Observatory System is easy. Stacking the panels together against a wall takes up very little floor space and tucks away safely until your next viewing experience. (Store the clamps by clamping them on the middle tube of the last panel placed against the wall. Frame side facing you.) Will anchor 8 panels to the wall. Kit includes one heavy duty 48 inch cloth covered bungee cord and two eyehooks. (Easy installation instructions included.)
