The heavy 14 oz. canvas material is attached with hex head sheet metal screws with stainless steel neoprene backed washers to assure durability. Each observatory comes with four BOSTON® brand bulldog clips for hanging star charts and lunar maps. You may want to have an occasional star party with your friends or family. The 6 panel STAR PARTY SET covers an awesome 24 feet. Additional panels (2 clamps included per panel) can be purchased to extend the coverage to suit your needs. If the standard panel (62 inches) is not tall enough, riser panels are available. These panels extend the coverage of the standard panels in height for taller scopes or lights that are up higher than normal. The risers are available in two sizes. (12 or 22 inches tall) You can mix or match the sizes to suit your needs for your custom setup. The risers attach by just sliding them onto the top of the standard panels. Additional risers can be purchased to go with additional panels. Standard panel = 5ft. 2in. tall Standard panel with 12 inch Riser = 6ft. 1in. tall Standard panel with 22 inch Riser = 7ft. 2in. tall Every panel and riser is 48 inches wide. 4 panel setup in circular configuration = 6 ft. across inside. 6 panel setup in circular configuration = 8 ft. 10 in. across inside.

Panel Set-up Instructions No tools needed!
Dark Sky
panel observatories erect in just minutes simply by clamping the panels
together. A complete 6 panel set takes
five
minutes or less to set up! The clamps are designed perfect for easy set up
and tear down. The IRWIN® brand ratcheting clamps are the best in the industry. A Dark
Sky observatory will never come apart
until you release the clamps. Simply store the clamps by clamping all of them on the middle
tube of one panel. No need for fumbling around with
tools or needing extra people to put the panels in place.
(May need extra person in
windy conditions.)
Two clamps on each connected panel and you are ready to see the heavens. Once
clamped together a Dark Sky observatory becomes a very sturdy structure in a
